Web Site Redesign
July 20, 2010Presentation Folder Design
May 27, 2010Had to update the company presentation folder, so did a complete redesign. Had originally replaced the logo with something new and a little more current, but had to revert to original. Unfortunate, but sometimes unavoidable. I believe brand should evolve and always be current, but not fixed to a trend. Still, I am pleased with the final product.
Here’s the cover (keeping consistency with corporate catalogue) and the first two pages inside (8 pages finished). There is a slot for a business card on the inside left flap/sleeve.

Catalogue update
January 13, 2010I recently updated our company catalogue (happens at least once per year) and decided to change the cover slightly. With corporate branding becoming more key to marketing strategy, I had to pull it together with all other materials in development. I like the idea of incorporating images while keeping the design clean. Here’s the front and back of the catalogue, which will be accompanied with a very similar, but different, presentation folder shortly.
Catalogue Info: Designed from cover-to-cover- initial idea to completion by Stuart Rogers. 3rd revision. 60 pages. Full colour (4/4). Quark XPress, Adobe Photoshop.
A constant state of upgrade
January 5, 2010I seem to be taking on more freelance work (design, photo) and think it’s time to purchase a new computer. My current MacBook has an incredible 80 GB HDD <sarcasm>. In all fairness, It was a fair size when I bought it, but is nothing with new file sizes from RAW images and psd saves with layers in tact. I love technology, but keeping current is a whole new issue ($$$).
I will have to check, but think the MacBook Pro is still available with a Matte screen, perfect for post production!

December 3, 2009Logo development
November 17, 2009Decided it was time to develop a logo for personal work. I like to keep things simple for easy manipulation and use. This will allow me to take advantage of the design in various ways (layers, backgrounds, fades, angles etc.) and keep my image from being static. I included two instances of how I can keep the logo branded while changing appearance slightly, and an instance using as a overlay to an image.
